Types Of Curved Glass
Choose from annealed curved glass, laminated curved glass, and toughened curved glass. Let’s take a closer look at the curved glass we offer, and how it can be used to bring your unique project to life.
Annealed Curved Glass
Annealed Curved Glass
Achieved by applying heat to flat glass, annealed curved glass can be mould-produced from a template or created from a Specialist Glass Products’ custom, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawing.
Offering great design flexibility, annealed glass can be used for a variety of applications. It can also be produced from clear float glass, patterned glass, wired or tinted glass, ready to be integrated into projects which feature single or double-glazed glass.

Laminated Curved Glass
Laminated Curved Glass
Designed to withstand moderate impact, laminated curved glass is manufactured when an interlayer is applied between two matching annealed bends.
Ideal for various applications, such as shop fronts, screens, glass partitions, and canopies, laminated curved glass, including SentryGlas®, has a host of aesthetic benefits.

Toughened Curved Glass
Toughened Curved Glass
Produced from annealed glass, which is heated and then cooled rapidly to strengthen it, toughened curved glass (also known as bowed glass) is designed to break into small, blunt fragments to reduce the risk of injury.
Used widely for curved glass balustrades and curved glass doors, our toughened glass units are available in low-E, low-iron, tinted, painted, and sandblasted varieties, while heat soak testing and heat-strengthened glass are also available.
