Double glazed specialist-coated glass can be produced in sizes up to 5900 x 3200mm.

We Prioritise Sustainability
Recycling glass helps cut CO₂ emissions and reduces the energy needed to make new products. At SGP, we recycle cullet on site by collecting unwanted material from your factory, processing it, and turning it into high-quality glass that is ready to be used again.
Glass selection, cutting, and preparation
Each pane is chosen for the job, which may be toughened, laminated, or coated. The glass is then cut to size and shaped if needed. The edges are then finished, and each pane is washed and dried so it is clean for assembly.
Spacer fitting, cavity creation, and sealing
A spacer bar is placed around the edge of the first pane. The second pane is set on top to form the cavity, and this gap is then filled with an inert gas. The edges are then sealed with a dual seal that includes silicone. This keeps the unit airtight.
Stringent Quality Checks
The unit is checked for clear views and an even cavity. The seals are inspected, any defects are identified, and we carry out thorough quality checks.
