Specialist Glass Products Launches New Website to Support Future Growth

Company News | February 16, 2026 | Andrew Taylor

Over the past few years, we’ve been busy investing in our manufacturing facilities, technology and people as part of our commitment to building a strong, stable and growing Yorkshire-based business. As demands from architects and specifiers have increased, we have focused on strengthening our ability to support complex, large-scale and sustainable glazing solutions.

How we invested in our factory, people and technology

Recent investments across the factory, advanced glass-processing technology, and our growing workforce have put us in a position to move from strength to strength. This has increased our capacity to over 100 employees and enhanced our capabilities, including a £1.2 million investment in the UK’s largest glass processing machine, which allows us to polish, drill, wash and waterjet cut glass up to 6m x 3.2m, a unique service within the UK market. We can toughen, laminate, and double-glaze glass to this size, an ability matched by few competitors. For curved glass we can produce sizes up to 5000mm x 3200mm

Our brand new website!

Following these major investments, we felt that now was the right time to launch a new website that better reflects our enhanced product portfolio. Showcasing our products in a new light, the platform provides a clearer and more accurate representation of what we can do. Delivered by Fishtank Agency, the website is seamless to navigate and supports future growth by highlighting our factory, projects and people, communicating our expertise and ability to deliver complex projects.

Managing Director, Andrew Taylor, speaks about the goal of the new website and the decisions leading to these investments in the video below:

Showcasing landmark projects

The new website also highlights a range of projects that demonstrate that we can meet the demands of complex projects, both in the UK and overseas.

Recent examples include the Royal Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh, which featured 6,000 of our curved and flat glass panels, as well as supplying toughened glass for an internationally recognised landmark, the Top of the Rock in New York. We were also proud to be involved in providing bespoke double glazing as part of the Flockton water tower transformation. These projects reflect our ability to deliver what is required regardless of size or scale.

Looking ahead

As we move into 2026, we remain focused on maintaining momentum and continuing to grow at Specialist Glass Products. The business is well-positioned to support future architectural projects, with a turnover of £10.5 million the year ending March 2025. With continued investment and a strong focus on quality and innovation, we look forward to supporting future projects.
