We are hiring for three exciting roles; FLT Drivers, Glass processors and a driver to join our growing fleet.
Founded in 2003, Specialist Glass Products (SGP) create glass bespoke to exact client requirements, making it one of the only firms in the UK to be able to offer multiple glass services with the very latest innovations and technology including:
- Cutting line with automatic glass loading and retrieval allowing SGP to cut, toughen and laminate glass up to 6000mm x 3210mm
- CNC Milling machine to allow for intricate cuts and shaping of glass
- Heat soaking ovens to protect glass from breakages, available for glass up to 6000mm x 3210mm
- Glass bending machine which allows glass up to 3200mm x 5000mm to be curved

FLT Drivers, Yard, Goods Inward and Despatch
Temporary/Permanent – 40 hours a week – Salary £TBC/ negotiable depending on experience
We are looking for an experienced FLT Driver to join our skilled workforce on a temporary to permanent basis. Duties will include loading and unloading wagons with the FLT, movement of stock/materials to various locations, stock control and use of company systems, manual handling, general yard duties (sweeping up and keeping all areas clean and tidy inside and out) and adhering to all Health and Safety on site.
Required skills:
- Must hold an in date Counterbalance FLT Licence
- Driving licence
- Basic computer skills are required
- Experience in operating a Counterbalance FLT competently
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturing/production environment
- Good communication skills

Glass processors: 40 hours (Day Shift/Evening Shift)

Delivery Driver (7.30am to 4.30pm)
Permanent – 40 hours a week – Salary £TBC
We’re looking for a full-time delivery driver to join our expanding team. Duties will include delivering products to customers, planning routes effectively, ensuring all products are loaded and secured before delivery, completing vehicle checks before leaving the site and reporting any defects to management immediately, dealing face to face with customers on delivery, completing of all delivery documentation and return to the production office, report any delays or delivery issues to management, manual handling of product
Required skills:
- Experience of working within the glass/building materials industry
- Must have a full current driving licence
- Previous experience of working delivery driving or similar
- Must be flexible and have excellent communication skills
